Paris - Halfway to Bangalore

Yes....I realize I've been to Bangalore and back have not said much about the trip so far.  Let's see if I can record some memories here and catch you up to speed.  First...the flights to Bangalore were on time and uneventful.  They were LONG as expected though. :)  I left my house around 10am Friday, March 8th.  My flight left South Bend at noon ET.  I only had enough time in Atlanta to grab some food and change into more comfy clothes before boarding began for the first lengthy flight to Paris.

I had a few hours layover in Paris.  Time to relax, recover from the first flight, recharge electronic devices, and take a few pictures inside the airport.  The international terminal and Duty Free shopping area of the Paris airport is very nice!  I had a great view watching planes go by from the Air France lounge.  Food was yummy too.  Definitely worth paying the 1-month membership fee with Delta, so I could access the lounge!

The number of people in the terminal between 6:30am when I arrived and 9:30am local time when I walked to my gate was pretty significant.  And if one gets bored, there was a play area for the little kids and video game stations for the big kids in the gate area. :)

I'll try to get some pictures from the Bangalore airport on my way home.  By the time I landed, it was 12:30am Sunday morning local time (approx 2pm ET Saturday afternoon).  All I was concerned about was getting my luggage, clearing customs, and finding my ride to my hotel. :)  More about the hotel in my next post...
